چکیده
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death for US women, and nearly two thirds who died suddenly of CVD had no previous symptoms.1 Therefore, it is of great importance to identify “at-risk” women early, so that effective primary prevention strategies can be instituted. A universal recommendation of prevention guidelines is that all asymptomatic women should undergo a global risk assessment.2
